One of the best authentic Caribbean restaurants in Halifax!!!! Do not hesitate just go, you well thank me later. Family owned business that should be a staple in everyone’s neighbourhood. I will definitely be returning. They greeted us and welcomed us in with warmth and blessed us with an experience. I tried the chicken and chicken combo and the oxtail and curry goat combo. It’s that good!!

Took my mom and sister here for an early Mother’s Day lunch. I had originally found out about this place on Skip the Dishes a couple of weekends before. I had an order of Jerk Chicken and Oxtails and absolutely LOVED the food. This time, I wanted to get the restaurant experience. It is on the smaller side, but still a good amount of seating available. The cook/owner (I’m assuming he is the owner as well) was not very enthusiastic or social when waiting on us, but he was friendly. What we ordered: •Jerk Chicken and Oxtail combo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ •BBQ Chicken and Oxtail combo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ •Jerk Chicken combo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (All combos came with rice & peas and steamed vegetables.) It was all so delicious!! Everything was so flavourful and I’m still thinking about those oxtails. 😍 We also got an order of 5 Beef Patties to take home and they were so tasty! We were all beyond satisfied with our meals and will definitely be going back for more.

Fantastic ! Such a cute homey little place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious as well. It was our first time there, I got the oxtail (so so good) which came with some rice and grated veggies. It was a little bit spicy but that’s just cause I can’t handle spice well and it was too good to not eat haha.) My bf got the shrimp with rice veggies, very tasty as well.

Friendly service and excellent food! We had 2 combos, jerk chicken and curry goat, and BBQ chicken and oxtail. We were not waiting long at all for our food. First time eating goat and oxtail and both were very tasty and so tender. We also had the beef patty. Not overly spicy, just enough to make you sweat a little. Highly recommend this place if you want to try something interesting, we will definitely be back!

Casual venue. Clean small dining area. Food was most excellent. We had jerk chicken, jerk shrimp each with lovely veg and authentic rice and beans. Also, Jamaican poutine had a fantastic oxtail gravy and all at reasonable prices. They were sold out of more than a few menu items on Sunday afternoon but what was left was fresh and very tasty. When we come back from AB we will call ahead to try some "pumpkin soup"
